R M Fisher was founded nearly 60 years ago by (Richard Metcalfe) Dick Fisher. Dick and his wife Jean founded the business in 1956. Dick combined building up his business with a semi-professional career in speedway, riding for and captaining the Belle Vue Aces in the 1960's. He rode in the World Final 3 times. Dick worked hard to build up his business and, amazingly, it is still owned by the family who founded it. In an industry renowned for the comings and goings of dealers and staff, this fact alone lends reassurance beyond words to the quality and integrity of service you will receive. Many of our staff have worked here for over 25 years, so you can always be assured of being looked after by a familiar face.
