General information
The Guild of Naturopathic Iridologists International has achieved a great deal in a relatively short time.
The successful integration of leading-edge Colleges and Courses has contributed to the Guild being able to provide the largest Register in the UK of professionally-qualified Iridologists, giving the public much needed protection from inadequately trained amateurs. In 1996, the ‘Secretary of State’ conferred ‘International’ status on the Guild, reflecting the contribution the Guild has made to worldwide scientific research into Iridology.
All Full and Associate Members have at least one therapeutic qualification in addition to their recognised Iridology Diploma and have professional indemnity insurance cover.
The Guild is the only ‘umbrella’ organisation for Iridologists in the UK. It was created by the general consensus of professional Iridologists of many years standing, who wanted to see:
- the protection of the public and prospective students established
- the provision of post graduate training
- the enforcement of a ‘Professional Code of Ethics’ and a ‘Constitution’
