General information

Driven by a passion for running, Chris Illsley and Caroline Birkin founded Running Imp in 1988.

Managing Director Faye Watson joined the family run business in 1991 after originally starting out as an Office Junior.

Expanding rapidly over the years, we’ve grown from just two staff to over 65 currently. This number rises in the peak months of April to July.
Running Imp is proud to call Jubilee House our home, a large purpose-built office facility with a connecting warehouse that was opened by Olympic medallist Steve Cram in 2013.

Allowing our team of specialists to thrive, Running Imp are proud to say our four key aims of service, advice, choice and value have truly stood the test of time over 29 years.

Handling short lead times with ease, we’ve been honoured to scoop many prestigious awards down the years.

Earning a global reputation for the quality of our custom medals, Bespoke Medals was born in 2010.

This division specifically deals with the design and manufacture of Medals, Custom Coins and Pin Badges at wholesale prices.

With fundraising becoming a much larger focus for clubs, companies and organisations, we created Bespoke Fundraising Supplies too.
This new specialist division exists to solely deal with charity and fundraising merchandise and products.

Each year we adopt a charity to whom we donate money to from the sale of medals and company fundraising projects.

We are pleased to call the Meningitis Research Foundation our Charity of the Year for 2017, a cause very close to our hearts.
