Waterloo Place

General information

Waterloo Place Café & Gallery serves freshly prepared traditional foods including sandwiches, soups, pies, fabulous cakes and soft drinks, coffees and loose leaf teas. We have sourced high quality foods supporting local businesses such as yummy, award winning pies, breads locally baked for us each day, scrumptious artisanal cakes, even our bacon and ham are cured locally. We also serve gluten free and vegetarian options.
Where possible everything we serve is made either in house or for us to provide fine quality foods in a relaxing environment. Sometimes a pianist entertains us on our piano or vinyls are played on our turntable.
We also have an art gallery with local artists’ work for sale and occasionally they paint on site and are happy to chat to customers about their work.
The lake and parks on our doorstep make our front seating very popular and with 3 seating areas to choose from you can bring your family or friends and find your favourite spot. On request one area can be sectioned off for meetings.
Whatever your reason for visiting Waterloo, walking or cycling, visiting Anthony Gormley’s Another Place on the nearby beach or just for a relaxing tea or coffee do come in and visit us.
