Little Sandbox Tech Club

General information

Little Sandbox started as a Saturday morning tech club for kids, proving young people aged 8 - 12 a chance to develop their interest and skills in programming. Use Scratch, python and other programming languages to create their own games and gadgets.

Thanks to funding from BBC Children in Need, we were able to purchase equipment and recruit qualified staff to plan and deliver project based activities to nurture the future Steve Jobs!

Since 2016 we have developed 2 new groups, Kilobytes for ages 6-8 and Gigabytes for ages 8 - 12. We're working with our members, parents and local businesses to develop skills achievements and we continually strive to inspire and nurture an interest in tech in a fun and creative way.
