The Athenaeum Company Information

The Liverpool Athenaeum has a long and distinguished history dating back to 1797. It was established as an elegant location for members to gather together to discuss news and exchange information away from the overcrowded coffee houses of the Georgian high street. The beautiful Athenaeum building in use today dates from the 1920's and is available to hire for weddings and other formal events. The club is open for prospective membership.
