General information

Sensei Cope no longer teaches but still takes the grading exams and takes a keen interest in the clubs sessions and still offers advice and encouragement. There are three venues where we train. We train Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 7 until 8 at Bebington High School, Friday 7:15 until 8:15 at New Ferry Village Hall and Sunday morning's at The Oval 11 until 12. . We practice Kihon, Kumite and Kata adhering to the principles of Sensei Gichin Funakoshi the founder of Shotokan karate.
The Sensei is Mr Frank Cope, 7th Dan Chief Instructor of The British Martial Arts Association.
Sensei Cope learnt his art from the world famous Sensei Enoeda and Kanazawa and was one of the first students of the famous Red Triangle Club in Liverpool.
We are a very friendly and welcoming club for beginners and all abilities.
We have grading's every three month's for all club members.
