After falling in love with West Kirby, Bernadine Dunleavy moved here with her family, leaving the hustle and bustle of London behind her.
In 1998 The Front Room was founded, originally setting out to provide customers with an exclusive range of furniture and gifts.
It has continued to evolve and in 2006 launched its etc range, a unique clothing collection using both internationally acclaimed designers and emerging talent. The carefully sourced range includes 3 out of 5 of the UK's top selling clothing labels as voted for by Drapers magazine.
Its ethos is quality, great styling and always exemplifying timeless and affordable style.
The continuing success of the front room is due to Bernie's keen eye for design, the relationships she has built up with her loyal customers and the wonderful team she has worked with over the years.
