General information

Prenton Golf Club offers a great golf course coupled with a great social atmosphere all at an extremely competitive cost. Our parkland course on the Wirral of 6429 yds (SSS 71) offers a challenge for golfers of all abilities. Owing to the course assets and fantastic condition we pride ourselves on being regularly picked for county level golf and competitions.

A scenic parkland course of 6429 yds (SSS 71) situated near to Birkenhead, with splendid views to the west across the Wirral Peninsular with Welsh mountains in the distance - and yet we are so close to the cities of Liverpool and Chester. Our fine Club had its Centenary in 2005 which we celebrated in style; a year of glittering social functions and successful competitions in which Members, Visitors and Guests truly enjoyed the facilities both on the course and in our stylish refurbished Clubhouse.

From very humble beginnings over a century ago, visitors today can look about them and see a golf course of great beauty and quality, a comfortable and welcoming clubhouse, and a friendly membership of ladies, gentlemen and juniors who are justly proud of the club they are part of. Our course is in excellent condition, attributable to the dedication of the team of green staff, who continue to maintain our exacting standards.
