General information
Long Lane was formally constituted as a football club in 1981 but we didn't have our own ground until 1994 when we took over the derelict facilities at Dursley Road. Three years later we became a registered charity and since then the club has raised funds and been awarded some of the biggest grants in football history to develop the facilities into one of the best grounds in the southeast.
The growth of the club and development of the grounds resulted in the London Olympics asking to use it as a training facility for some of the worlds best footballers during London 2012. As a result we now have a full undersoil irrigation system helping to keep the pitches and grounds in top condition.
The 2012/13 season saw the mens senior team enter the Kent County League for the first time. The club now has nearly 40 teams including a very successful girls and ladies section from U10's to seniors.
