Want to improve your cycling and have fun? The community cycling club is open to bike riders aged five to 16. All abilities are welcome, all you need is a bike in good working order.
British cycling trained coaches deliver the club which aims to build upon the skills learnt during Bikeability and at after school bike clubs, as well as develop the skills of younger children who have just started riding.
Alongside developing the life skills of recreational cycling, the club will also offer an opportunity to develop cycle sport skills on a large traffic-free space at Charnwood College, Loughborough. The club also run alternative sessions including guided family rides, BMX Flatland workshops and trips to local cycle centres.
The club is supported by Charnwood Borough Council’s Sport & Active Recreation Team and Leicestershire County Council’s Choose How You Move initiative.
