General information

JT Music is based in Scamblesby, in the heart of the Lincolnshire Wolds and easily accessible from LOUTH, HORNCASTLE and surrounding areas.

Lessons are on a one-to-one basis, and tailored to the needs of each individual.

Lessons are offered from beginner level right through to Diploma standard.
I prepare students for exams if appropriate for that particular person, recognising that progress in music is about more than passing exams in quick succession.

I graduated from the prestigious ROYAL ACADEMY OF MUSIC in London with the Professional Certificate (a Performers Diploma) with honours.

I obtained my piano teaching qualification (LRAM) during my time at the RAM.

I have taught students of all ages and abilities for the past 20 years. A number of my students have taken up music as a career, going on to study at institutions such as the ROYAL CONSERVATOIRE OF SCOTLAND, OXFORD UNIVERSITY, and even as far as BERKLEE COLLEGE OF MUSIC in Boston, USA.

In addition to my private teaching practice, I also teach piano at St Hugh's Preparatory School in Woodhall Spa, Lincolnshire.

I am a member of both EPTA and the ISM, Professional organisations for musicians.
