Clay Target
Morton Clay Targets is a working clay shooting range for members and visitors. Looking for a sport or activity that is different, exhilarating, fun and very sociable then Clay target shooting could be what you have been looking for. Enjoyed by the rich and famous from the early 1880's shooting is now an olympic sport enjoyed by many even as young as 10 years old.
Our clay target shooting range offers shooters of all levels a great facility to enjoy 7 days a week in Livingston, East Lothian. Our range is of competition standard and the largest in Scotland.
Clay Target shooting is a sport loved by a wide range of our members from 10 years old to our oldest member of 90 years.
Our friendly facilities offers great shooting and a vibrant clubhouse that is relaxed and welcoming.

Facilities at Morton Clay Targets:
We are open for shooting 5 days a week and selected Sundays.
Enjoy a morning or afternoon of shooting and then socialise in the club house at our open fire over lunch.
With ample parking at the range it is perfect for larger groups and individuals alike.

At Morton Clay Targets we offer DTL (Down The Line) clay shootings most popular discipline. A great group sport as you take your place at one of our stands taking it in turn to shoot 5 targets. The group will move to the right until 25 targets have been pulled. Get competitive as you try to score the top score of 75 points per round.
How the scoring works: Each target is worth 3 points for a first barrel kill, 2 points for a second barrel kill and 0 for a miss

We also offer ABT which offer the same experience and spread of targets as in Olympic Trap. Challenge yourself as you shoot horizontal and vertical targets.

Membership:
The clay target range is suitable and open to non members and visitors. A membership can be applied for in the clubhouse and are available for adults and children.

Competitions:
As one of Scotland's and the UK's leading 4 skeet clay facilities we hold various competitions throughout the year which are very well supported. Keep up to date with our program of events, review results of recent competitions and our hall of fame 100 straight shooters on our website.

Rifle Range
The UK's and Scotland's only 6 lane indoor full bore 7m - 100m rifle and pistol range, retractable target system with 17 inch monitors in each booth allowing viewing of targets at 25, 50, 75 and 100 mtrs.

Opened in January 2015 we provide a diverse selection of shooting and training opportunities.

When stepping into our rifle rage safety is our main priority and our highly trained instructors will firstly talk you though our safety standards and basic operation of your fire arm.

Our facility can be used for professional certification courses, group sessions, parties and individual practice.

Stag and Hen
Clay pigeon target shooting at Morton Clay Targets welcomes stag and hen parties. This exciting activity is ideal for groups of stag's or hen's looking for a fun activity to remember. Our experienced coaches know how to keep your group safe but have fantastic fun at the same time. At Morton Clay Targets, Livingston, East Lothian your group will shoot at this purpose built members club.
The facilities for Stag and Hen groups are exceptional with 5 different shooting stands where you can shout "pull" and shoot your target with one of our 12 or 20 bore guns that are of competition standard.
Over the years we have seen groups dresses in traditional theme's such as of the 1880's Victorian and Edwardian hunting parties to groups encapsulating the famous William Frederick Cody, better known as "Buffalo Bill" and his spectacle "Buffalo Bill''s Wild West Show". We have even had traditional country tweed groups to the outrageous group sporting Sacha Baron Cohen character "Borat" - even the green mankini.

Nothing shocks us here at Morton Clay Targets, we promote fun and want to ensure your stag or hen doo is a complete success.

At Morton Clay Targets this is a working members shooting club that is used for competitions, members meets and tuition daily. Our tuition is delivered by highly qualified instructors who have represented Scotland many times at International level. No matter if you have never held a gun before our tuition will ensure you hold and shoot correctly.

Your stag and hen group will enjoy everything from instruction, cartridges, clays, insurance and equipment. We pride ourselves in being able to offer your group a tailor made clay pigeon shooting experience to suit your own particular requirements.

Based in Livingston we are ideally situated for the central belt of Scotland and the rest of the UK including Glasgow, Ayrshire, Edinburgh, Lanarkshire, Renfrewshire, Newcastle, Inverness, etc
