The Clyffe Hotel is a large Victorian building, dating back to 1876. We are located opposite the Claremont Pier and Blue Flag beach in the Kirkley area of Lowestoft, with stunning views out to sea. We are just a 10-15 minute stroll from the heart of the Town Centre, the train station and for guests coming by car the gateway to the Norfolk Broads is only a 10 minute drive away in the picturesque village of Oulton Broad.

Our location gives you an ideal base to explore Lowestoft, with one of the UK’s most beautiful beaches with an amazing history, stunning architecture and great shopping and restaurants, as well as the beautiful surrounding countryside. Whether you want to sit and relax on the Blue Flag beach, or make the most of Lowestoft’s shops, restaurants and bars, everything is within walking distance of The Clyffe Hotel.

With just 16 bedrooms, you can be assured of a warm welcome and friendly, personal service throughout your stay with us. Each of our beautiful bedrooms are individually decorated and designed with cool, calm colour schemes. We have a range of rooms spread over 4 floors of the building, from classic Doubles, to quirky Loft rooms to our Deluxe Bay fronted seaview rooms, all with en-suite facilities and featuring a flat-screen LED Freeview TV, Wi-Fi, hospitality tray and luxury toiletries.

We offer a range of freshly-prepared breakfast choices and/or Continental breakfast, as well as fruit, cereals and yoghurt using locally-sourced foods wherever possible, served in our welcoming, light and spacious breakfast room. We believe that a good breakfast sets you up for the day!
