Head for Arts is a community arts organisation that works across the Eastern Heads of the Valleys area in South Wales, covering the county boroughs of Blaenau Gwent, Caerphilly, Merthyr Tydfil and Torfaen. Established in April 2008, Head for Arts has an administrative base in Llanhilleth Miners Institute but programmes arts activity in various venues across the entire patch.
Head for Arts is funded by the Welsh Assembly Government through the Arts Council of Wales and is supported by a partnership of the four local authorities involved.
