Ford & Ellis Motorcycles has been a landmark in Chesham for 35 years.Started back in 1977 by Charles Ford with the help of his family and it is still a thriving family run business today. Being an ex motorcycle racer Charlie transferred his passion for racing motorcycles into running a motorcycle dealership selling all four of the big Japanese brands for both road and offroad bikes. Ford & Ellis motorcycles and Charlie himself where such big supporters of racing that we even had a British 125cc motorcross champion in 1986 in the shape of Greg Hanson riding a Ford & Ellis Racing backed Kawasaki KX125.

1996 saw the opening of a purpose built showroom and workshops just a few doors up in Broad Street in Chesham enabling a seperate clothing and helmet department to be developed catering for top brands such as Shoei, Sidi, Caberg and Sparda to name just a few as well as a multibay workshop to be constructed.

Other developments over more recent times have included some further remodelling of the buildings to include a modern MOT testing station and tyre fitting bay to increase capacity for these tasks on a while you wait basis.

We have now expanded the service reception and clothing departments to create a self-service area for a wide range of accessories from Bike-It, plus a large range of oils and cleaning materials in sense creating a one stop shop for all your motorcycing needs.

The developments continued in 2005 when we became a Solus Suzuki dealership selling there complete range of motorcycles from there 125cc bikes to there massively popular GSXR range. We also sell a variety of used, reduced and ex-demo motorcycles and scooters as well as there Offroad motorcycles and with this year we also now bring you Suzuki's range of ATV's to the line up.

If you have difficulty in visiting us in person, we can take orders by telephone and this website will shortly have an interactive online shop where with a few clicks you can have a whole host of items delivered to your door.
