The property was built in 1853 of yorkshire stone and originally a corn
merchants premises, now a well established family run guest house it also provides a village tea rooms with home cooked foods.
The property is situated on a road side position just 1 mile from the centre of Holmfirth, on the A6024 going towards Holme Moss.
This is on the edge of the Peak District and in walking distance
of the Pennine hills and Reservoirs and is renowned for the filming
of The Last Of The Summer Wine series.
We are ideally situated for walking, cycling and touring with easy access to major towns and cities.
All the rooms are attractively decorated and furnished, with colour TV and many extras and full en-suite.
2 of the guest rooms have 4 poster beds.
A hearty breakfast is included in the tariff and if you wish you can have it served in your room.
There is also a guest lounge with a large screen digital TV and dvd player
Packed lunches are available from the tea rooms and guests are welcome to bring a take-away to their room in the evening.
Our terrain can be quite spectacular in the winter as well as the summer.
