Why well-lit?

Well-lit represents the culmination of everything we have learnt about LED lighting, online retailing and customer service since my experience in the industry started in 2003.

What are our values?

It’s very simple, we treat our customers the way we would expect to be treated and on top of that, we always try to exceed our customers’ expectations. Our products are of the highest quality and are the only genuine direct replacements for halogens and incandescent currently on the market.

What is our company culture?

We are an open, honest and transparent company. We have nothing to hide and a lot to shout about, so that’s what we do. We welcome all feedback, positive or negative, as we know we are not a perfect company and we need to constantly improve. Bujar and I are accessible and still answer customer service e-mails and the phones when we can. Customers are the heartbeat of our company and we try to engage and talk to them as often as we can.

What makes us different from the rest?

When I first started my own LED lighting company, my mission was to do the complete opposite of every other company. However, I didn’t think nearly 6 years later this would still be the case. I envisaged the competition having caught up in terms of product quality, price and customer service, but this isn’t that case- which is great!

365 Day Returns Policy – Most people wrongly assume this was introduced purely for the benefit of the customer. Although the benefits for the customer are obvious, the real benefits are ours. If we offer a full refund on any product bought from us for an entire year, then our product and customer service has to be a lot better than everyone else, or we’ll just get unhappy customers sending their products back and we’d eventually go bust. So the returns period really keeps us on our toes and makes sure we never rest on our laurels.

Expert Content – We write relevant and helpful information about LED lighting that helps our customers to educate themselves in order to make informed buying decisions. Too many LED companies have no experience or history in the LED lighting industry and release information that is either inaccurate or outdated. The level of our technical support from Technical Tim is one of the biggest reasons customers buy from us.

No Spam – We don’t see why making a purchase with a company and handing over your e-mail address in order to receive updates on that order should result in that company spamming you mercilessly in an attempt to get your to buy more of their products. We find this highly annoying and rather cheap, so we don’t do it.
