General information

At Kip McGrath Education Centre Huddersfield Central we offer individually tailored programmes of study to a wide range of students provided by fully qualified and experienced teachers. We specialise in all aspects of maths and English, including reading, spelling, grammar and comprehension - catering for primary and secondary aged students - targeted to help them achieve their full potential. We also have a wealth of experience in supporting and guiding our students on their journey to taking 11+ Entrance exams (including Crossley Heath, North Halifax, Heckmondwike Grammar School etc.)

All of our teachers are checked with the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) - previously Criminal Records Bureau (CRB).

Our centre is Ofsted registered, which means that families in receipt of the childcare element of Working Tax Credit can be entitled to receive up to 70% of their fees, making this a very affordable route into extra tuition for your child.

After the initial assessment a plan of action is agreed and following a successful enrolment a regular weekly session time and teacher are allocated. All lessons last 80 minutes and their content is planned on an individual basis according to your child's needs.
