At Northern Lights Drama (NLD) we have built an independent theatre school for children, young people and adults in Hull, East Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire. We use our professional training and experience to provide high quality training and support to local talent across the region. We do not restrict entry through audition as we see our role as developing everyone, irrespective of whether they wish to pursue a professional career or not; our training can help develop a young person’s confidence and interpersonal skills in addition to acting ability. Those who progress towards professional work in theatre, film and television will be prepared for auditions and a career within the industry. Our classes are designed to aid and develop self esteem and the life skills needed to enable pupils to realise their full potential, at whatever age.
