This charming 4-star cottage in the picturesque village of Strone near Dunoon is the perfect place to enjoy your holiday.
Experience the breathtaking scenery of Argyll’s Cowal Peninsula with its hills, lochs, firth, forests and the exotic trees and shrubs that flourish in the mild west coast climate. Enjoy the wonderful diversity of wildlife including red squirrels, deer, seabirds and, if you are lucky, golden eagles.
The cottage is an ideal base for walking, cycling, fishing, golfing or sailing or you can simply relax in the living room or sun lounge and be enchanted by the stunning views of the surrounding lochs, hills and glens.
Nearby facilities, include a village Post Office & general store, public house and 9-hole golf course. Hill, forest and shore walks are just minutes from the door. Good restaurants, pubs and tourist amenities are within easy reach. A regular bus service, just 100 yards from the cottage, travels to and from Dunoon where you’ll find a good range of shops, cafes, sports & swimming facilities, cinema and supermarkets.
