General information

We provide Baby & Pre-school swimming classes (from birth, through to toddlers and pre-schoolers) and Swim Academy classes for primary school children. Our classes run across Mid Cheshire in and around Warrington, Northwich, Macclesfield, Frodsham, Delamere, Runcorn, Sandbach, and Cheadle Hulme.

Baby swimming is one of the most amazing experiences you can share with your baby and it is one of the few things that you can both enjoy together.

With lots of eye and skin to skin contact, it's a wonderful way to bond with your baby where you can really focus on each other and enjoy this magical time together.

Although we have spent many years carefully developing our progressive lesson plans to develop swimmers, our teachers adapt activities to suit each child. Our baby-led swimming approach ensures that your child's needs are expertly fulfilled - never forcing development, but nurturing confidence and unlocking their potential to swim.

At Puddle Ducks, your little one is at the centre of everything we do and the children we teach can often swim over 10m before they start school!

We also run classes for older children in our Swim Academy so we'll be with you through the whole journey from baby to independent swimmer and who knows, maybe a future Olympic champion! Whether your child has attended our Baby and Pre-school classes or has only ever dabbled with the family, we have a class that's just right for them.

All of our classes take place in specially selected clean, warm pools and combine a carefully balanced set of activities including group and individual work, swimming, submersion, floating (without armbands!), songs and games. We’re big on fun, and our classes incorporate rhyme, music and movement based on extensive child development research. We’ve even had our unique class soundtracks written by professional musicians. Be warned, the songs are very addictive – you’ll soon be singing them in the bath and in the car!
