General information
40 Years of 'Follow, Follow and still going strong'
A Rangers supporters club was established in Kirkcaldy in 1969 and existed for approximately 4/5 seasons. From the remains of that club a new club was formed in August 1975 to be known as Templehall (Kirkcaldy) RSC.
Following successful operation of running buses to Rangers V Hertha Berlin and Airdrie, both at Ibrox on Monday 4th and Saturday 9th August respectively, the inaugural meeting of the club took place on Sunday 10th August 1975 in Raeburn Community Centre, Kirkcaldy. Initially 53 registrations fees were sent to Ibrox although the total for the season ended up at 127 members. Today, of these 127 founder members of this fine club there are but 5 who are still members this season - David Fisher, Neil Fisher, Ian Ramsay (aka Alfie), John Watterston Snr (aka Gee) and John King. Membership fees were fixed at £1.00for the season 75/76 and bus fares were agreed at £1 for adults and 50p for juveniles. Stuart Pithie was elected the first chairman with John King the secretary/treasurer and Robert Douglas as the social convener.
