PROFILE

Jann Turner has worked in the equine industry as a profession since 1973, starting out as ‘Head Girl’ at Hunting, Polo, Dressage, Competition and Breeding yards. Jann bred backed and competed on her own horses as well as others that were brought in for backing and producing for competition at national level. Jann has competed to Intermediate Level Affiliated British Eventing, as well as having a successful career in affiliated Showjumping and Dressage. Jann has had coaching throughout her competition years from Olympic and International trainers. Other activities past and present include:

• Running her own successful and busy competition yard.
• Owner and manager of several retail shops.
• Owner and manager of a Home & Pet Care Agency.
• Owner and manager of a Saddlery in Essex.
• Regular lectures and demonstrations throughout the country.
• Written articles for national magazines such as Horse & Rider and Absolute Horse.
• Dressage and Showing Judge at Riding Club shows.
• Teaching Showjumping & Cross-Country
• Designed, set-up and managed a multi-million pound, state of the art Equine Centre specialising in rehabilitation, for a millionaire businessman.
• Founder and Trustee of a Registered Charity, Horse and Animal Rescue Centre.
• Founder and Director of French’s Care Farm, a farm that essentially combines the care of land and animals with the care of people.
• All Jann’s businesses and projects were created from scratch.
