Ardent Hire Solutions is the UK’s newest plant hire company.

Our company

Ardent was born from the purchase and merger of two well established plant hire firms – One Call and Fork Rent. As a result, Ardent boasts the largest telehandler fleet in the UK as well as one of the largest excavator fleets, with a comprehensive choice of over 5000 machines available for hire, worth over £150m..

Our leadership

Ardent is led by a vastly experienced management team, including Steve Corcoran, former CEO of Speedy Hire, and senior management from both of the former businesses. Our team has worked at all levels of the industry, from local depot to international boardroom, giving them a unique understanding of the industry, and a genuine insight into the needs of our customers.
This inspires us to offer complete and comprehensive solutions and support, from booking, through delivery and hire, to final collection.

Our plans

Our new company is backed by over £100m of funding, which will be used to expand the fleet. We are currently JCB’s number one customer in Europe and this new investment will make Ardent’s fleet the youngest in the UK, increasing efficiency and reliability for all our customers.

We will also be extending the number of Ardent depots in the UK, to offer unrivaled availability, convenience and service to customers across the country. There are currently 11 Ardent depots, with several more planned in the next two years.

For example, our team can handle your fuel planning throughout your hire for added efficiency and convenience. This not only ensures that your vehicles are fully fueled and ready when you need them, but also means that their fuel usage is carefully monitored to identify any problems before they start pushing up your running costs.
