Rapid Dispatch was founded as a partnership in 1987 to initially operate same day deliveries in small vans throughout the UK from its Ipswich base. Rapid Dispatch grew its customer base and delivery services and became a Limited company in August 1997. Increasing its services and deliveries considerably since then, it has seen the need to relocate twice within Ipswich and has opened an additional depot in Rivenhall, Essex.
Rapid Dispatch has successfully teamed up with APC and has the ability to offer further network services, which now also include overnight deliveries for larger/heavier items via our pallet network, international deliveries, via airfreight, and dedicated same day delivery for anything that can be accommodated on a motorcycle up to 3.5 tonnes.
Having 40 members of staff with 4 dedicated overnight services administration staff in both Ipswich and Rivenhall, we have the ability to help every customer in a very personal way.
We are also members of the Road Haulage Association.
