Independent Shipping Agencies Ltd are a provider of Shipping Agency and Logistics services at ports throughout the UK.

We are a privately owned, family business. The company name reflects exactly what we are, Independent.

We are the only agents with a full time office located on the deep sea English Channel port of Portland, and can offer expert assistance for all vessel and owner requirements, from cargo discharge to on / off hire survey, bunkering, in water surveys and crew changes, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We also have a strong presence throughout other South West ports, particularly Falmouth and Teignmouth.

We have a permanent office on the River Humber on the East Coast, which covers Immingham, Grimsby, Hull, Goole and New Holland We specialise in dry bulk products, including Animal Feedstuffs, Biomass, Minerals, Agri Bulks and Coals, but also handle many other bulk and break bulk commodities.

Through our extensive network of fellow port and logistics specialists, we can offer a full and bespoke service which includes, but is not limited to, ships agency / husbandry, full cargo handling operations in port, storage, haulage, customs clearance, and cargo / vessel inspection and superintendency.

We are also full members of the GAFTA Superintendents scheme, and have achieved GTAS accreditation.
