Groundswell is a new farming conference, designed by farmers for farmers to educate and inform the industry about Zero Tillage techniques and soil conservation in arable and mixed farming situations.
On a working No-Till farm within a mile of the A1(M) in Hertfordshire, we are putting together a day with field scale demonstrations for direct drills and a conference with speakers sharing their experiences from around the world.
There will also be a chance to see the rainfall simulator from the USA which gives an amazing insight into the effect that 2'' of rain can have on a range of British soils, and also some mob stocking demonstrations showing low input/high output grazing and the effect it can have on soil fertility on permanent and arable pasture situations.
