Proper Job has become famous locally for its great value range of paint, DIY tools, housewares, auto goods, decorating, toys, art supplies, kitchen and bathroom items.
The business has grown from strength to strength since it launched as Tilley's Tools in the 1980s based in Cornwall.
The Tilleys moved their operations to Weston in the 1980s and were based at a warehouse at Warne Park where they ran a wholesale business.
In 1997, they opened their first Proper Job store at Devonshire Road and then went on to open the Worle store in the High Street in 2000, the Bristol store in 2004 and the Glastonbury store, in the town's former Kwik Save supermarket, in 2007.
Proper Job now have stores in Weston-super-Mare, Glastonbury, Street, Clevedon, Burnham-on-Sea, Bridgwater, Brislington and Frome.
