Situated on a quiet country lane on the outskirts of the village of Butleigh, Somerset, Keepers Cottage is a luxurious, boutique style bed & breakfast in a private family home.
Set in a truly glorious spot with breathtaking views across open fields, Keepers Cottage was originally a two-up, two-down gamekeeper’s cottage built in the 1850s from the lovely, local Ham and Blue Lias stone. More recently the house has been renovated, remodelled and extended, the gardens enlarged and landscaped giving the beautiful Keepers Cottage we see today. Your hosts – Ian and Emma Taylor – offer just three guest bedroom suites and with your privacy in mind, each suite has its own private entrance. All rooms exude rustic character with features such as wood floors, exposed stone work, and vaulted, oak-beamed ceilings. We combine this with all the comforts and conveniences of home and then add a dash of luxury.
