General information

We have been running successful courses in Winterbourne Down for 5 years. Our aim is to ensure that you receive the maximum benefit from each class, learning skills and techniques that will create a pathway into the wonderful and relaxing world of art.

Our beginner’s course will take you on a journey of discovery, creating paintings you never thought possible. With the help and advice from our qualified tutor, Emma, you will acquire all the tools and confidence to achieve your artistic ambitions and unleash the artist within!

Our first course is designed for absolute beginners and teaches basic methods of sketching and painting with oil pastels, watercolour and acrylic paint. By the end of the course you will have the ability to look at objects in a new light and re-create them. This new found knowledge will enable you to create many original pieces including a landscape painting.

Most of our students go on to do our Improvers Course and take their skills to the next level. The return rate of our students is well over 60% which speaks for itself.
