General information

Our GP locum agency is under medical direction by Dr Peter Bouzyk, an experienced GP who has been involved as a sessional Medical Practitioner in Primary Healthcare since 1991 and medical recruitment since 1997. He is also an Appraiser in General Practice GP mentor and clinical supervisor as well as holding Honorary Tutor status in the Severn Deanery School of Primary Care.

The recruitment process is managed by knowledgeable Recruitment Consultants who have extensive experience in the recruitment industry.

We are based in Stroud, Gloucestershire in the Cotswolds, yet provide a nationwide service rising to the challenges asked of us by doctors and clients throughout the UK and abroad. No task is ever seen as being too small.

We are positive yet realistic in our approach to sourcing GP and Nurse locums and will always offer advice to both parties in order to negotiate an acceptable compromise – hence our tailored solutions.

We are innovative. We have gained the support of many GP and Nurse locums who have found that our flexibility towards work and pay has enabled them to be more in control of their own busy schedules.

We are proactive. We look ahead and gauge and anticipate what the needs of our clients as well as our GPs may be and put the two together. This is especially important in the current climate of Recruitment and Retention issues within the NHS.

We are fair. We will always look at cost saving measures to ensure that our client practices realise best value for their money without compromising on the quality of the GP Locum presented to them. Likewise, we will ensure that the GP Locum is not financially compromised.

Where possible we try and ensure that all work is eligible for the NHS Pension Scheme and will manage the necessary paperwork to provide a seamless service for our GPs, Nurses and clients.

We offer impartial advice on working as a GP in the UK. This is an important aspect of our business and we are always happy to listen and assist. For example, we have assisted in the relocation of Sessional (locum tenens) GPs from one part of the country to another as they move for personal and professional reasons.

We are pleased to assist Nurses in their work through us and will also offer impartial advice in order to assist this important group of professionals in their career choices and plans.
