General information

The national umbrella organisation and registered charity Rape Crisis England & Wales (RCEW) exists to support and co-ordinate a network of independent specialist member Rape Crisis Centres for survivors of child sexual abuse, rape & all forms of sexual violence. We also work with and lobby government departments, policymakers and ministers, the agencies of the Criminal Justice System and the media, for better funding and recognition of the specialist women's sexual violence sector.

Rape Crisis raises awareness and understanding of sexual violence and challenges victim-blaming and sexist myths in order to support the needs and rights of all survivors.
