Discover DeCrypt is the project to regenerate St Mary de Crypt Church and the Old Crypt Schoolroom on Southgate Street in Gloucester, restoring it as a site of international significance for all to enjoy, especially children, young people and families.

Experts are helping us to develop fresh ideas and bring a new lease of life to these special buildings, enabling discovery of Christian heritage in innovative and creative ways. We will provide space for learning, for meetings and events at these historic buildings and continue to offer guided and self-led tours. By developing our links with the local community as well as international partners we will make this heritage site into a resource accessible and known to all.
