General information

In the beginning there was a bed. The French Bedroom Company was born in May 2006 by Georgia Metcalfe, an interiors guru with a background in interior design and styling. Whilst shopping for a bed for her 30th birthday, she realised the only way to find THE French bed was to import one from France. Six months later the first French Bedroom Company collection was launched, with a simple ethos: to find exceptional quality French furniture and share it with people who want a bit of
sassy French style in their bedroom.

Our Products
The design team draw inspiration from everywhere: a slogan, an icon, a great work of art, a peony in bloom, a colour - even the female body! Everything makes us tick and we love to mix up colours and textures to create beautiful and unusual furniture, lighting and accessories that make a statement and start a conversation. Take a traditional gold shabby chic French bed, add a pair of black Poodle bedside lamps and an antler chandelier overhead - et voilà - a look that is completely now and completely your own. And our furniture will last for generations to come - for your children and your children's children.
