The Kite Brewery ( Glamorgan Beer)

General information

Our company – Glamorgan Brewing is a family (3 generations) owned and run brewing company, having been established since 1994.
We originally commenced brewing as the Red Kite Brewery (after the national bird of Wales) in Gorslas, Carmarthenshire; with a tiny capacity we quickly found ourselves needing more space and a state of the art facility was built in Llantrisant just outside Cardiff (we are located in good company, opposite the Royal Mint); and with our beers now winning awards and receiving wider recognition we decided a new name was in order.
We wanted to reflect the importance of the local area to the brewery and our beers. We are now called the Glamorgan Brewing Company, (but you’ll still find the original Red Kite keeping watch over our new artwork).
We’re committed to quality at every point of the brewing process; from the raw ingredients we use to the designs on our pump clips and bottles - we want to brew the best beer that Wales has to offer.
