This page has been created to keep you up to date with Fire Service news, events and campaigns and to share fire and road safety advice so we can help improve your safety and reduce the number of emergency incidents and their consequences. Call 101 for non emergencies or 999 in an emergency.

SWFRS responds to a range of emergencies across the county including fires, road traffic collisions, flooding and animal rescues. Our firefighters also respond to emergencies outside of South Wales assisting in both national and international search and rescue operations.

SWFRS is governed and funded by South Wales Fire Authority.
