Who is James The Gadget Man?

James has been an IT professional for the best part of 20 years, and happily obsessed with computers and gadgets for much longer.

His professional career has included roles as IT manager for a chartered surveying practice in London’s West End and for a national charity. He moved on to run a successful IT consultancy in London which provided first class IT support, advice, consultancy and training to a wide range of professional and charitable clients.

Throughout his professional career, James has acted as IT support, helpdesk and gadget expert for family and friends in his spare time. He happily advises people on what to buy, installs and gets them running, and most importantly, troubleshoots and fixes things when they go wrong!

In 2011 James decided to take his professional expertise and experience, and his love of helping others to use technology with ease, and set up his own business – thus, James The Gadget Man was born.

His mission is to help people from all walks of life – small business owners, home PC / Mac users, everyone bemused or frustrated by broadband, wifi, or smartphones, young and old alike – to use and enjoy the technology they have, with ease.
