General information
St Peter's is a thriving Anglican church in the heart of the busy market town of Berkhamsted. We follow a traditional, inclusive, worship style focused on the Eucharist and encourage all to grow in their experience, knowledge and love of God. We are a popular choice for baptisms and weddings and, alongside our services, we also have a whole host of groups appealing to different members of the community from a toddler group on a Friday to prayer groups and lunch clubs. We also host many events throughout the year, the most popular of which is the annual Petertide Fair in June which raises money for charity. The church itself dates back to the 13th Century and today is a place where a growing congregation of over 200 gathers together every Sunday to worship God.
