The Inn dates back to 1577 set in the quiet hamlet of Smalldale, in the village of Bradwell in The Hope valley right in the heart of the Peak District. "The Green", as it is known by locals, has traditional country pub character with low beams,brasses,local historical pictures and beautiful coal and log fires.

Ye Olde Bowling Green has 5 self contained, ensuite bedrooms available, which are seperate from the pub and beautifully furnished to enrich your time whilst visiting the Peak District.

There are 4 double rooms, and 1 twin room. Each room has a comfortable and cosy country feel, with fantastic views of the surrounding landscape.

All rates are per room on the basis of two people sharing and includes full English Breakfast served between 9.30am and 10am.

We are AA registered with 4 stars for our accommodation and do hope you will visit us for a warm and comfortable stay. The pub is in walking distance from the main street which has public transport to Sheffield (about 25 minutes away) and Castleton, which is a 5 minute bus ride, or about a 40 minute walk.

We also have convenient on-site parking and free Wi-Fi in the pub.

Food is served Tuesday-Saturday 12.30pm-2.30pm and 6pm-9pm, and 12.30pm-4pm on Sundays

The bar is open all day, everyday.

Although our pub is located away from the main road, it is conveniently located for walkers, bikers, business trips or purely to enjoy the Peak District on a leisure trip. There are a number of walks around the area, with trails that are comfortable walking distance to Castleton, which is the main tourist attraction of the area. During the summer there is a heated open air pool open in a near village, and there is a golf course located nearby with reasonable green fees.
