Hyde Pre-School

General information

Hyde Pre-School is a small, friendly, committee-run pre-school set in the New Forest at Hyde. We offer a safe, stimulating and caring environment where children can develop through play and their experiences. We are a member of the Pre-School Learning Alliance. We welcome parental involvement at all times and our highly qualified experienced staff will work in partnership with you to reach your child’s full potential. We offer well resourced indoor and outdoor facilities with direct access onto the New Forest. We have regular adventures into the natural environment incorporating elements of the “Forest Schools” ethos. Children come to us mainly from the ‘Link’ villages around Hyde, together with children from Fordingbridge and the surrounding area. Children may attend between the ages of 2 years 6 months and 5 years. School entry age is variable, depending on the school’s policy. We have very close links with Hyde School, and visit regularly, so that children feel at home when they start.
