Waypoints Care Group is made up of three homes, each dedicated to specialist dementia care. Here are some details about each of the homes:
Waypoints Upton:
• Purpose-built specialist dementia care
home with nursing
• 65 rooms, all en-suite (including one double room)
• Beautifully decorated rooms, wider corridors and a continuous walking route to aid freedom of movement
• Two restaurants overlooking the garden and woodland setting
• Nostalgic sweet shop, in-house cinema,
hairdressing salon
• Rowlands Pharmacy and Costa Coffee on site
• Retro themes to assist in aiding navigation throughout the home
Waypoints Verwood:
• Purpose-built specialist dementia care home with nursing
• 42 rooms, all en-suite
• Beautifully decorated rooms, and wider corridors to aid freedom of movement throughout the home
• Palladium dining room and patios overlooking the nature reserve
• Nostalgic sweet shop, hairdressing salon
• Retro themes to assist in aiding navigation throughout the home
Waypoints Plymouth:
• Purpose-built specialist dementia care home with nursing
• 64 rooms, all en-suite
• Beautifully decorated rooms, and wider corridors with a circular walking route to aid freedom of movement throughout the home
• Tamar Bistro with patio doors opening out into the landscaped garden
• Estuary View dining room with terrace overlooking the Tamar river and open countryside
• Separate smaller dining room for private family get togethers
• Nostalgic sweet shop, hairdressing salon
• Retro themes to assist in aiding navigation throughout the home
