General information
We develop lunchtime improvement programmes for schools that help remove any barriers to learning and create a calm and relaxing environment, that encourages children to eat better, eat together and engage in conversation.
Our programme gives the whole school community a chance to share their views and opinions on lunchtime and make it better. To achieve this we work in partnership with Local Authorities and school meal caterers. With their support, we conduct consultations with all school stakeholders to establish everyone views and opinions on lunchtime. This includes pupils, parents, teachers, kitchen staff, midday supervisors and governors.
Based on these stakeholder consultations, lunchtime action plans are then developed to address concerns raised about, for example, children feeling rushed, not having enough time to eat, long queues and noise levels.
