About the Nursery
Happitots is situated in a fabulous purpose built property with four departments spread over two levels and with a secure outdoor play area. The nursery benefits from its location within the grounds of Garrowhill Park offering extensive space for outdoor play.

Playrooms & Garden

Playrooms within the nursery are generously proportioned, carefully planned and extensively resourced to create inspiring learning environments in which children can grow and learn with confidence. Each playroom has access to outdoor play areas offering the opportunity for regular outdoor learning opportunities across all areas of the curriculum.

Early Years Care & Education

Children attending the nursery are cared for by a skilled and dedicated team of early year’s professionals who plan learning opportunities to meet individual needs. Staff value children as unique individuals and have created an ethos of care, teamwork and respect where children delight in the joy of learning and discovery.

Our Nursery is dedicated to providing a variety of learning opportunities for our pre-school children and so we offer Spanish classes and also free swimming classes. We are visited by a local teacher who provides more focused learning activities and opportunities for children to develop early literacy and numeracy skills.

Awards & Accolades

The nursery has been recognised for its quality standards in both local and national award schemes and is a recognised Investor in People, Member of NDNA, Breast Feeding Friendly Nursery and ECO schools centre.

Happitots operates in partnership with Glasgow City Council to offer funded pre-school education sessions.

Opening Hours

Opening hours are as follows:

Monday to Friday: All year round

Full Day Session: 8am to 6pm

Morning Session: 8am to 1pm

Afternoon Session: 1pm to 6pm

Fixed Holidays: 2 weeks over Christmas and New Year.
