General information

Hello.
I started behind bars in 2005 and have been fascinated with drinks ever since.
At 20, I started to study to become a sommelier.
At 22, I left sunny Scotland to live and work in New Zealand and learn as much as possible. But the vineyards didn't have the excitement I needed.
At 24, I designed, helped build, stocked and ran a tiny wee cocktail bar 'TheNaughtyPenguin' with a good kiwi friend.
At 25, I ventured to Australia to learn more. It was in Perth WA, that my thinking changed. Working at 'theGreenhouse' and 'ElPublico' taught me to rely on fresh, seasonal produce, and to reduce waste.
At 26, I spent a year in Melbourne working at 'BarEconomico' 'Seamstress' and 'LuiBar'.They taught me creativity, modern techniques, and precision.

I came home at 28 with the drive and desire to start something that would challenge the industry.

Rapscallion started as a nomadic passion project.

I now have a base in the Glasgow Collective, where I can experiment, collaborate and produce drinks on a bigger scale than ever before.

The 'ETC' in the name means that the best has yet to come.
