The Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) Centre helps students and graduates to take control of their future and find positions that will let them use their skills to their full potential.

A KTP is a partnership between;
• A Business: which wishes to use new skills and knowledge to improve their business performance
• A University: which wants to use it’s knowledge in a real world setting and expand their knowledge of industry and business practices
• An Associate: who is able to take control of a project vital to the businesses performance and use the resources and knowledge of himself and the other partners to achieve a measurable outcome.

The KTP Centre helps to connect each of the partners and ensures that the best possible partners are paired together. The centre also provides support to the associates during their time within a business

KTP works with over 140 universities, further education (FE) colleges, and research and technology organisations (RTO) across the UK, which translates into over 450 university departments. That includes all Research Excellence Framework (REF) rated departments, covering a wide range of academic disciplines – including engineering, computer sciences, physics and mathematics, management, social sciences and the arts.
