GBCT is a campaigning charity borne out of a protest organisation Save Our Pool—Southside Against Closure. This group was formed in January 2001 after Glasgow City Council announced closure of the baths. After the longest occupation of a civic building in British history, we have worked tirelessly for 16 years to reopen this vital facility.
