General information
Glasgow University Student Television, GUST, is the student television station made by students for students at the University of Glasgow. Established in 1964, we are the oldest student-run television station in the world.
We create a variety of programmes which we broadcast online here and on our website GUST.tv. From sports coverage to music videos, short films to animations, we create a wide variety of programmes. On occasion we also broadcast live events that happen on campus.
GUST meets twice weekly for our studio filming session and for our production meetings. We also offer training and workshops in a wide variety of production aspects. Whether you are more creative or technically minded, there is a place for you in GUST.
GUST is also an affiliated member of the National Student Television Association (NaSTA). We regularly communicate, work, and compete with other student television stations around the UK and attend the Conference and Awards Weekend held annually.
