General information

Once upon a time in small town in East Yorkshire, Adrian Pettitt a fond lover of Yorkshire food and drink had a dream – to run a shop selling bottles beers from Gods Own County!

On 29th September 2012 the Yorkshire Ales Bottle Shop was opened selling bottled beers from small and emerging microbreweries around Yorkshire. As well as showcasing Yorkshire Food and drink from local producers.

Over the next few years Adrian and his wife Vicky, sourced new and interesting bottled beers. The bottles sold online across the UK and in the bottle shop in Snaith. As the business grew Adrian and Vicky showcased their products across Yorkshire at different fairs, shows and festivals. Another arm of the business grew in a wholesale element supplying shops, restaurants and hotels across Yorkshire with fine selections of bottled beers and cider.

The business kept developing and the Yorkshire Ales Beer Café was opened selling sandwiches, beer, cider, wine, teas and coffees. The Beer Café has evolved thanks to the feedback and requests from customers. We now have 4 hand pulls on, a craft keg, craft cider and pilsner too. We have a range of Yorkshire Spirits from the fine distilleries! We also now serve Yorkshire Cocktails too!

Our Fodder these days consists of Henderson’s Relish Yorkshire Crisps, Sea Salted Yorkshire Crisps, Nuts and Snaffling Pig Pork Scratching’s ! However we do team up with Street Kitchen businesses from Yorkshire to provide fine fodder at least once a month. We love working with local businesses too, each Monday we run Pop Up Pizzeria with Rawcliffe Pizzeria.

Alongside the Bottle Shop, we now have a Snug and a Function Room too in which we run Yorkshire Tapas evenings, Gin Master classes, Cocktail Nights and many more Yorkshire themed events!
