We have a communicative approach to teaching and learning. Students have an Individual Learning Plan as well as weekly tutorials with their teacher and this will help them to continue to improve their English and to become independent learners.

+ The City

Exeter is the capital city of the region of Devon, south-west UK and was voted University of the Year, College of the Year, Museum of the Year (2012) It is a beautiful and safe “English” city. The school is situated in the city centre and therefore very close to all the shops, bus and train station and amenities.

+ Accommodation

- Host family: fantastic host families all visited by the school’s accommodation officer. If you are not happy with the family you can change by giving one weeks’ notice
- Student Residence: June/July/August - modern city centre residence with en suite facilities and kitchen & studio apartments
- Student house: summer only. All houses within walking distance of the school and city centre

- Watersports on the river and indoor climbing
- Beaches: only 12 miles to the nearest beach
